The devil in the selection criteria

A few prospective clients want us to write a ten or 12 point selection criteria for them.

The only person who can write a subjective selection criteria, where they are asked to write 300 words per criteria which demonstrates values and outcomes, is the client.

It’s a problem of ‘other minds’ but lets not get philosophical.

The simple truth is the prospective client doesn’t want to do the work.

This is disappointing and shows the individual isn’t ready for state or Commonwealth public service.

We can give advice on how to tackle a selection criteria and even edit it.

No one but the client can write the selection criteria.
