I sometimes get people asking me how to post their resume to Seek.
There are pros and cons in doing this. The pro is that employers can check out your resume.
The con is that it’s not a tailored resume for a specific application.
You’re also giving important and confidential information to SEEK. That might not worry some.
About 70 per cent of all jobs are won by direct application but some are certainly gained by employers and recruiters cruising job sites and LinkedIn.
