Republic Resume keeps kicking goals

As an Adelaide resume writer, this is what it’s all about. Helping people get work.

Congratulations to Keeley for landing the job at SAPOL. She was short listed from 400 applicants for two positions. She worked for community services and wanted to get away from the ‘front line’. Her resume needed more ‘sell’. I also gave advice on the selection criteria.

Scott landed a job at a large hardware provider. He had just hit 50 and wanted his resume to reflect a change of life priorities. He wanted to spend more time with his family. Scott had some construction and business skills already, so I created a customer service resume. Scott wrote me a nice testimonial below.

“I approached Malcolm King to assist with my resume’ for an upcoming job application with the largest hardware retailer in the country. I had been self-employed for fourteen years and my resume’ needed a “tune-up”! It took about an hour, Malcolm fine tuned it for the position and the result was brilliant. I submitted my resume’ and was telephoned the next day to come in for an interview. A week later I was successful in gaining a position in front of approximately 800 other applicants. I found Malcolm to be informal but highly professional and would definitely recommend his services.”

Shirley had just finished a Certificate 111 in childcare. We worked on the resume together online and got all of her selling points up front. She now works part time in a childcare centre for a university in the city.

Congratulations to Paul who went from being a Protective Service Officer to a Security guard at the University of Adelaide. His personality and ‘never say never’ helped a lot. He had 30 years experience in security/body guard work.
