What a year for job seekers! I am proud as an Adelaide resume writer and employment specialist, that even with the massive government-induced Coronavirus recession, about 65-70 per cent of my clients still got short-listed for jobs.

You may have noticed that we’re doing some work on the back end of the website. It needs it! But it will be back up and ranking early next year. Some surprises coming there.

A couple of developments. While recruiters make much of resume scanning equipment – most resumes in Adelaide are still hand read.

There have been issues with scanning software which uses deep-learning neural networks, or dense text representations (word embeddings).

So if you’re getting your resume done elsewhere, ensure that the writer knows what they’re talking about. With high unemployment comes the scammers.

Unless you’re an executive, most resumes in Adelaide will cost between $150-$250.00. Cover letters cost around $100.00 (one page, targeted) and LinkedIn sites cost about the same.

We had two clients just starting their careers who were each quoted $320 and $350.00 by a dodgy practitioner to do a simple, graduate resume. So shop around.
