The problem isn’t the resume. It’s the error made three years ago, picking a degree which has no practical placement component.
While you might know a lot about theory, employers want to know that you can actually operate task-specific software and use high-end communication and negotiation skills. With practical placements, they can see you in action.
Those capabilities are also gained through practical placements. Not to mention the great networking payoffs placements afford.
In fact, in engineering the direct career path from graduation to employment is through a placement.
If you don’t have that experience, you’re in trouble.
Remember, always do a PRACTICAL PLACEMENT/INTERNSHIPS.
