Resume writers work to deadlines. It’s part of the job. We expect clients to do so too.

Missing copy deadlines shows that the client isn’t up to speed with current workforce practice.

It also shows that they’re not dedicated job seekers.

As writers, we can forgive copy that is full of spelling mistakes and grammar errors. We fix those.

But we don’t forgive clients who miss deadlines.
